Β§ 01The Problem

Building an MVP shouldn't feel like rolling dice.

You have funding, a roadmap, and investors checking in monthly. What you don't have is a technical co-founder β€” and the options for getting one built are uniformly bad.

/ 01 β€” Marketplaces

You hire a freelancer. You hope.

Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal. The communication is async, the quality is a coin flip, and β€œproduction-ready” turns into three months of patching someone else's spaghetti.

β€œI burned $18k on three different freelancers before getting anything I could actually demo.”
/ 02 β€” Agencies

You sign with an agency. You wait.

Eight-week discovery phases. $80–250k engagements. SOWs longer than your pitch deck. By the time they ship, your runway has shrunk by a quarter β€” and a competitor has already launched.

β€œThe kickoff call was scheduled for six weeks after the contract was signed.”
/ 03 β€” In-house

You hire a senior dev. You pray.

$180k base, three months to source, six weeks to ramp. If they leave, you're back to zero. If they stay, you've burned half your seed round before line one of customer code is written.

β€œWe made one senior hire. Their first sprint took longer than our entire MVP should have.”
$47k
The average cost of a β€œwrong” MVP attempt.

Across our advisor network, founders report spending between $20k and $90k β€” and 4 to 7 months β€” before reaching a buildable, demonstrable product. We built AI Dev Crew because that math is broken.

Β§ 02The Position

A new category between freelancer and agency.

One in-house team. One process. AI woven into every step β€” Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Copilot, plus our own automation pipelines. The result: agency-grade quality at a price that respects your runway.

Β§ 03The Sprint

Seven days, broken down to the hour.

No discovery phase that becomes the project. No β€œwe'll get back to you next sprint.” Every sprint follows the same proven sequence β€” refined across every build we ship.

Day 01
Lock
Spec & architecture
↳ deliverable: locked PRD
We translate your idea into a build-ready spec β€” data model, user flows, third-party integrations, deployment topology. AI-assisted scoping cuts what used to take three weeks down to twenty-four hours.

Day 02
Frame
Scaffold & first surface
↳ deliverable: clickable build
Repo set up, CI/CD wired, auth, database, and the primary user surface go live on a staging URL. By the end of Day 2 you're clicking through your product, not a Figma file.

Day 03–05

Core feature blast
↳ deliverable: feature complete
The crew goes deep. Daily commits, daily Loom updates, async questions answered within the hour. AI-paired development means we ship features at three times the velocity of a conventional team.

Day 06
Harden
Polish, tests, telemetry
↳ deliverable: production candidate
QA pass, automated test suite, error monitoring, analytics, and performance tuning. We harden what's built rather than papering cracks β€” your MVP is investor-demo ready, not just demo-ready.

Production deploy & handover
↳ deliverable: live MVP
Custom domain live, full repo access, runbooks, architecture diagram, recorded walkthrough. You own everything. From here, you go solo, hire in, or roll into a monthly retainer with the same crew.

Β§ 04What's Included

Everything an MVP needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Each sprint includes the full stack β€” frontend, backend, auth, payments, deploy, monitoring. No surprise add-ons, no β€œthat's out of scope” emails on Day 6.

No. 01

Frontend that ships

React + Next.js with Tailwind. Server components where they matter, client components where they need to be. Designed by humans, scaffolded by v0, refined by the crew.

No. 02

Backend you can extend

TypeScript or .NET on the API tier, Postgres for data, Redis where speed matters. Conventional architecture. No clever shortcuts. The next dev who reads it understands it in twenty minutes.

No. 03

Auth, payments, the rails

User auth, subscription billing, role-based access, transactional email. The plumbing every product needs β€” wired up correctly the first time, secured by default.

No. 04

Deploy + observability

Custom domain on Vercel, Railway, Azure, or AWS β€” your call. Sentry for errors, PostHog for product analytics, log aggregation. You see what your users see from day one of launch.

No. 05

Tested, not just built

Automated test suite covering critical paths. Playwright for end-to-end, Vitest for units. The handover repo is something you can keep developing β€” not a tower of cards.

No. 06

Docs your next dev will love

Architecture diagram, README that actually says what to run, decision log, deployment runbook, recorded video walkthrough. A handover that respects whoever picks it up next.

Β§ 05Founders, in their own words

Built for founders who'd rather ship than scope.

β€œ
We had a closed seed round and a board meeting in three weeks. Two agencies told us we'd need ninety days. AI Dev Crew shipped a demo-ready MVP in seven days β€” and the code was cleaner than what our last contractor delivered in three months.

The 7-day SLA is real. Day-by-day Looms, daily commits, decisions logged. After three different freelancer attempts, this felt like working with an actual team.

The 7-day promise.

If we don't deliver a production-ready MVP within 7 days of kickoff, we keep building β€” at no additional cost β€” until we do. That's not marketing copy. It's in the engagement letter.

Β§ 07 β€” FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Still on the fence? Take the 2-minute MVP assessment β€” we'll send a scoped roadmap and a straight answer about whether your idea fits a 7-day sprint.

Take the assessment
Can you really ship a production MVP in 7 days?+

Yes β€” and the reason is process, not magic. We sprint with a tightly-scoped, locked spec; a battle-tested stack we know cold; an AI-native workflow that compresses the parts of dev that used to be slow (boilerplate, scaffolding, tests, docs); and a single dedicated crew with no context-switching.

What we don't do: invent your business logic in 7 days, build six features when the spec calls for four, or chase a moving target. The 7-day timeline assumes a locked spec β€” that's why discovery exists.

Why is it only $4,999? What's the catch?+

No catch. AI-accelerated workflows let us deliver in 7 days what conventional teams take 8–12 weeks to ship. We pass that efficiency through to you. We make our margin on volume and on the retainer relationships that follow successful sprints β€” not on padding hourly billing.

The honest constraint: we have limited sprint slots. We typically run 2–3 sprints in parallel. When slots are full, we'll quote you a start date.

Who owns the code and IP?+

You do. Full ownership transfer on Day 7, including the repo, deployment configuration, infrastructure credentials, and all documentation. No license restrictions, no rev-share, no required ongoing relationship.

What stack do you build on?+

Default: TypeScript / Next.js / Postgres / Tailwind, deployed on Vercel, Railway, Azure, or AWS. For workloads that need it, we use .NET on the API tier (we have deep experience there). We choose proven, mainstream technology β€” anyone you hire after us can read it.

What we won't do: pick obscure tooling because it's clever. Your next developer needs to be productive in your codebase on day one.

What if my idea needs more than 7 days?+

Two paths. We can scope the MVP down to a 7-day-shippable core and roll the rest into a monthly retainer β€” this is what most founders do. Or, for genuinely complex builds, we'll quote you a Priority Rush Sprint with extended scope.

We'll be straight with you in discovery about whether your idea fits a sprint. We've turned away projects that didn't.

Are you using AI to write the code, or are humans?+

Both. AI handles the parts of development that humans do worst β€” boilerplate, scaffolding, test generation, repetitive refactors, documentation. Humans handle the parts AI does worst β€” architecture, judgment calls, code review, security, and product taste.

Every line of code is reviewed by a senior engineer before it lands in your repo. We don't ship AI-slop.

What happens if you miss the 7-day deadline?+

We keep building until your MVP is production-ready, at no additional charge. It's in the engagement letter. We'd rather take a small loss on a slipped sprint than ship you something that isn't ready.
