AI Dev Crew is a productized MVP studio operated by Harris ICT Pty Ltd. We build production-ready first versions of software products in seven days, at a fixed price, and hand them over in full to the founders who commission them.
Why we exist
Every founder we've met has been through the same three conversations. An agency with a six-month timeline and a quote that rearranges their personal finances. A freelancer who's enthusiastic, available, and abruptly unavailable three weeks in. A tech co-founder they don't have.
None of those three options produces a working MVP in a predictable amount of time for a predictable amount of money. We built AI Dev Crew because we thought the shape of the offer was the problem. Not the talent. Not the tooling. The commercial shape. A fixed scope, a fixed timeline, a fixed price, and a real team for the duration.
What we do
One thing, well. A 7-day build sprint, preceded by a three-day discovery sprint, ending with a live product on a domain the founder owns. We don't take long-term retainers. We don't staff-aug. We don't do “we could start next month and figure it out as we go.”
We do run follow-on sprints — sprint two, sprint three — for founders who want to keep building with us. Each one is bounded the same way: a clear scope, a clear price, and a clean handover at the end.
How we work
The 7-day timeline is real. It works because of the shape of the engagement, not the speed of the engineering. Discovery produces a locked spec. The build sprint respects the lock. Daily check-ins keep the founder in the loop. Deploys happen from day one. A handover doc on day six means anyone can pick up the codebase on day eight.
We lean on AI heavily — it's in the name — but we are clear-eyed about where it helps and where it doesn't. Boilerplate, tests, docs, and translations: dramatic wins. Architecture, debugging, and naming: still human work. We've written more about this in the engineering blog.
Who we work with
Founders who know what they want to build in the first version, or are close enough that three days of discovery will get them there. We're a good fit if you want a small, focused team that delivers on a deadline, and you want to own what gets built. We're a bad fit if you want a long-running partnership where scope evolves weekly, or if you want someone to go away and figure out the product for you.

Brisbane, Australia. We work with founders worldwide — the sprint cadence is set up for it — but the business sits in Queensland, under Harris ICT Pty Ltd.

- Work without a locked spec.The spec is the contract with the timeline. We're not starting without one.
- Hold your code hostage. Everything we build sits in your accounts, on your infrastructure, in your name. Always.
- Quote on vibes.Fixed-price quotes require a clear spec. We'll do discovery first.
- Pretend AI can replace judgement.It's a productivity tool. The taste is still ours.
