Privacy policy.

How AI Dev Crew (Harris ICT Pty Ltd) collects, uses, and protects personal information. Written in plain English, and compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

This website is operated by Harris ICT Pty Ltd, trading as AI Dev Crew, a company registered in Australia. Our registered office is Level 18, 324 Queen Street, Brisbane City, QLD 4000, Australia.

In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Harris ICT Pty Ltd. “You” refers to the person whose personal information we hold or who interacts with this site.

What we collect

We collect personal information only where it is necessary to operate our business or to respond to you. Specifically:

  • Contact information you provide voluntarily — your name, email address, company name, and anything you include in a form submission or email to us.
  • Waitlist and newsletter sign-ups — your email address, sent to our email provider (Resend) and stored in our own Azure Table Storage list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.
  • Engagement information — during a paid engagement, we may collect additional information reasonably necessary to complete the work, such as credentials you choose to share with us, accounts you invite us to, or content we need to build against.
  • Technical information— when you visit this site, we collect standard web analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.

How we use your information

We use your information only for the purposes for which it was collected, or closely related purposes, including:

  • Responding to enquiries and providing quotes;
  • Delivering the services you engage us to provide;
  • Sending occasional newsletter emails if you have subscribed (and you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • Improving this website through aggregate analytics;
  • Complying with legal obligations, including tax and accounting obligations under Australian law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people arrive, which content is useful. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and shares aggregated information with Google. We have IP-anonymisation enabled and do not use advertising or remarketing features.

We ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies. If you decline, we do not set analytics cookies and we do not collect analytics data about your visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for this site and reloading the page.

Essential cookies — the ones required for the site to function, such as your cookie-consent choice itself — are set without consent as permitted by law.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the site and the business. Each one handles personal information only as needed to provide their service.

  • Vercel / Azure — hosting. May process IP addresses and request metadata for delivery and security purposes.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — aggregated analytics, only if you consent.
  • Resend — sends our contact-form replies, waitlist welcome emails, and any newsletter we send you. Holds the email address you submitted.
  • Microsoft Azure — also stores the waitlist email address in our own Table Storage account so we keep ownership of the list independent of Resend.
  • Calendly — if you book a call with us through our booking link.
  • Stripe, GitHub, and others — engaged as required during paid engagements, and always disclosed in the engagement contract.

Some of these providers are based outside Australia (primarily in the United States). By interacting with this site or engaging us, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in those jurisdictions, subject to protections at least equivalent to the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus any retention required by our email provider for unsubscribe management.
  • Engagement records: we retain engagement-related information for seven years after the close of the engagement, in line with Australian tax and business record-keeping requirements.
  • Analytics data: retained by Google under their default retention settings (currently 14 months for event data).

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Measures include encrypted transport (HTTPS everywhere), access controls on our internal systems, least-privilege credentials with our service providers, and regular review of the providers we depend on.

No system is perfectly secure. We'll notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, as required by Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • Withdraw consent for cookies, analytics, or marketing at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint about how we have handled your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@aidevcrew.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email if they affect people who have given us their email address.
